Strong Shiraz with ripe red berries and cassis and a hint of white pepper. The palate is rich in red berries with coffee and subtle notes of spices with prominent fruity undertones. Fine, silky tannins result in a complex, fruity wine with aging potential. The oak barrels add chocolate and vanilla notes. A soft finish accompanies this elegant and balanced wine.
The 20s vintage in the magnum bottle is pure drinking pleasure! With intensive contact with air, the wine opened very nicely and makes you want more. Complex and balanced.
AGEING
10 months in French 5,000 lt wooden barrels. Then another 3 months in used French 225 lt. barriques. With this expansion, the wonderful Shiraz fruit is not dominated by the wood. This is what distinguishes the wine and is a guarantee of its great popularity among customers.
TIP
The wine is ready to drink but we recommend aerating it well, i.e. decanting it so that it can open fully. He’s increasing storage.

WHY A MAGNUM BOTTLE CAN BE IDEAL
At 1.5 liters, a magnum is twice the size of a typical wine bottle. You can drink a magnum over several days. 1.5 liters make around 14 glasses of wine.
If it is a quality wine, after the bottle has been opened and you have had a glass or two, you can simply put the cork back in. Place the wine in the refrigerator. The cold prevents oxidation and, on top of that, the wines love a bit of air and really come into their own on the second or third day. Pour a glass full five minutes before continuing to enjoy it and the wine will soon have reached a temperature of around 17 degrees. Just right to enjoy!
Magnums are definitely a small niche – but it’s always worth storing a few in the basement. Because they age more slowly due to the lower oxygen to wine ratio in the bottle compared to standard 75cl bottles. Do the experiment, we hope you enjoy it!
